When Arirang introduced the first smokeless barbecue tables at Harbour City in 1983, diners could finally enjoy Korean grilling without leaving smelling of smoke. A small innovation that changed everything.

Before smokeless tables, the theatre of Korean BBQ - live coals, sizzling meat, communal grilling - came at a price: clothes and hair carried the evidence long after the meal. This limited where Korean BBQ could go and who would come.

Our smokeless system opened Korean barbecue to a new audience: the business lunch, the special occasion, the diner who wanted the experience without the aftermath. It remains one of the things we are most proud of in over sixty years of service.
